In 2022, nestled within a bustling residential real estate office, Sympatheia Capital was born out of a crucial realization. Brent was routinely fielding calls from perplexed clients grappling with underperforming single-family rental properties. There was a palpable need for better deals and more lucrative opportunities among our established clientele. Simultaneously, he recognized another segment of clients eager to invest in real estate but restricted by limited capital.
As Brent navigated the market, various investment opportunities crossed his desk, but he realized he too only had the capital of one person, he often had to refer these opportunities to other investors or pass on them altogether. After missing out on several promising ventures, he knew something needed to change.
Brent saw the potential to unite both goals—those with underperforming properties and those (including him) looking to scale his investments but lacking sufficient liquidity. By pooling resources, expertise, and vision, of regular everyday people, Sympatheia Capital is not merely capitalizing on an emergent market trend.
